NewDad singer Julie Dawson steps out on her own with new single ‘Silly Little Song’.
The Irish band have become serious contenders, with their stellar indie anthems matched to a fantastic live set. Bustling with energy, it seems their creativity can’t be contained, with Julie Dawson taking time out to focus on something new.
Out now, ‘Silly Little Song’ spins her music in a 180 direction, with the Irish songwriter aligning in the studio with electronic producer Jack Hamill (aka, Space Dimension Controller).
A strange, otherworldly piece of music, the duo were introduced by mutual friend Dan Foat, connecting over WhatsApp.
The results are totally different to anything you’d expect, the playful electronics coupled to an affecting vocal. She sings…
…and I take to the ocean, cast you in the tide, but you won’t mind, and I take you to the graveyard, you can have your turn burying me in the earth.
Tune in now.
