Julian Scherle’s ‘Truth Of Heart’ Searches For Meaning

Synth world-building that comes from the heart...

Julian Scherle has shared new song ‘Truth Of Heart’.

The electronic composer was born in Germany, spending his teens in the punk underground. Introduced to the world of analogue synths, Julian Scherle fully immersed himself in electronic production, and never looked back.

Switching to Los Angeles, Julian Scherle has immersed himself in soundtrack work, gaining numerous credits on high profile projects. Recently scoring the motion picture Missing – directed by Nick Johnson and Will Merrick – this acts as a parallel to his own solo work.

Releasing under several different monikers such as Són, new song ‘Truth Of Heart’ comes out under his own name. A revealing, beautifully emotive piece of work, Julian Scherle’s world-building capabilities come to the fore, beautifully pieced together sonics that discuss the nature of love.

He comments…

“At its core, the song is a love song for someone who is very close to my heart. I was going through some quite difficult personal challenges over the past year, which forced me to open my eyes and rethink what human connection and love really means to me. Along the way, I asked myself questions like, ‘How do traumas, anxieties, and societal norms shape the way we connect with other people?’ and, ‘Is this even compatible with human nature? Are we constructing relationships that are impossible to live up to our expectations? Are we setting ourselves up for guaranteed failure?’”

“Love means to nurture both one’s own and another person’s spiritual growth. In the presence of dependency, control, anxiety and the wish for dominance, real love can’t exist.”
