Julia Jacklin has shared new song ‘Be Careful With Yourself’.
The songwriter’s 2019 album ‘Crushing’ was a huge Clash favourite, and her resulting tour took the Australian artist around the globe.
Follow up LP ‘PRE PLEASURE’ is out on August 26th, following sessions in Montreal alongside co-producer Marcus Paquin. Alongside her band – bassist Ben Whiteley, guitarist Will Kidman, drummer Laurie Torres and saxophonist Adam Kinner – the record also utilises some Owen Pallett string arrangements, recorded by a full orchestra in Prague.
‘Be Careful With Yourself’ hems in the lush arrangements, a guitar-led workout driven forwards by Julia Jacklin’s wonderfully empathetic vocal.
A song that carries a stately sense of grace, ‘Be Careful With Yourself’ is Julia Jacklin at her most honest, and affecting.
Tune in now.
‘PRE PLEASURE’ will be released on August 26th.
