Jorja Smith will release new album ‘Falling Or Flying’ on September 29th.
The UK artist’s debut album ‘Lost And Found’ was a moment of graduation, with Jorja Smith’s soulful ascent taking her to international status. Since then, she’s released a flurry of projects, with the latest – ‘Be Right Back’ – landing in 2021.
A series of singles this year inaugurated a fresh chapter in her life, with Jorja now set to release her second studio album this Autumn.
Out on September 29th via FAMM Records, ‘Falling Or Flying’ finds Jorja Smith reclaiming her narrative. In a statement, she notes: “It’s definitely a journey I’ve just started. That’s what’s crazy. It’s only just begun.”
The cover was shot by the prestigious British photographer, Liz Johnson Artur, and it meant to reflect the stark beauty of the contents therein. “I don’t slow down enough” she says. “This album is like my brain. There’s always so much going on but each song is definitely a standstill moment.”
