London wordsmith Jords has shared the full video for new single 'Old School Flex'.
The production nods towards the legacy of UKG, while adding a little something different into the mix, too.
The beat has a laid-back swagger, while Izzy Bizu is on hand to lend that classic sense of soul.
Grime legend D Double E goes toe-to-toe with Jords, while the new video picks up on those nostalgic reference points.
Jords says…
“‘Old School Flex’ is my ode to the 2000s. I want people to be able to travel through time whilst listening to this and be able to put themselves right in the middle of a sweaty garage rave – even if they’re listening to this song during a nice day party in the summer. I’m a man who lives for nostalgia, so to be able to create moments in time like this with legends like D Double E, are priceless. I remember the first time I heard Izzy Bizu: I envisioned her voice for a song like this, before it even existed. Making music with people you grew up listening to… you can’t describe that feeling.”
The video was shot by Meeks & Frost in West London – get involved below.
