Joni Mitchell was rushed to hospital last night (March 30th) after the 71 year old singer was found unconscious at her Los Angeles home.
Treated in intensive care, representatives for the iconic songwriter have posted the following note on Facebook:
Joni was found unconscious in her home this afternoon. She regained consciousness on the ambulance ride to an L.A. area hospital. She is currently in intensive care undergoing tests and is awake and in good spirits. More updates to come as we hear them. Light a candle and sing a song, let's all send good wishes her way.
The nature of the emergency is not yet known, although Joni Mitchell has been suffering from the skin condition morgellons for some time. Best wishes, Joni!
