Johnny Lloyd has announced plans for his new solo collection 'Low Fidelity: Volume 1'.
The new compilation pieces together his solo wanderings, tracing his path from bedroom artist, to Tribes frontman, and beyond.
Out on December 6th, the album is rough and ready, but provides an insight into his working methods, as well as stripping his work down to the core.
"When I was 18 I came across this BOSS eight-track - It had a CD burner and eight channels to record. I took it everywhere and still do. It can only store one song at a time which it then burns to CD so you have to finish everything you start."
"These demos are songs in their rawest form for anyone who’s listening."
Out on December 6th through Xtra Mile Recordings, it's led by the intriguing demo for 'Happy Humans'. Online now, it's an insight into his methodology, while also supplying a raw indie ear-worm.
