John Talabot is set to unveil two new tracks – ‘Mai Mes’ and ‘Tragedial’ – as part of a tour release.

Few albums this year have united the Clash office like ‘fIN’. A new offering from John Talabot, it’s gently evolving house hymns had a deep, spiritual sensibility which was offset by a marked control of late night tempos.

Pushing the producer to the forefront, John Talabot recently confirmed plans for a remix EP based on ‘fIN’ as well as a lengthy Stateside tour with The xx.

Now Playground (via FACT) are pointing out that John Talabot has revealed his intentions to release a new seven inch. Available in limited quantities on his upcoming US and European tour, the disc will contain two off cuts from ‘fIN’.

‘Mai Mes’ and ‘Tragedial’ work as tracks in their own right, sharing the same painterly house textures which were daubed across ‘fIN’. The strange red design you see below? We’re presuming it’s the cover design, although we’re ready to be proved wrong…
