John Squire, Yoko Ono Get Arty

New Charity Project Announced

A number of top musical figures have joined forces to design postcards for the Royal College of Art in London’s annual RCA Secret exhibition.

The annual project donates all funds to charity. The rules of the exhibition state that all postcards must be displayed anonymously, with the signature of the artist on the reverse. Each postcard costs £40, and only when purchased can the identity of the artist be revealed.

This year the list of artists includes Yoko Ono, former Stone Roses guitar slinger John Squire and former Clash bassist Paul Simonon. The massive exhibition doesn’t only feature famous names, however – the RCA gallery will host over 2,700 entrants ranging from celebrities, to established artists such as Tracey Emin and RCA graduates.

All money raised from the project goes towards the Royal College of Art Fine Art Student Award Fund.

The cards will be on show at the Royal College Of Art, Kensington Gore, London from November 14th – 21st. The cards will then be sold on a first come first served basis from November 22nd.
