London artist John Glacier has laid out plans for her debut album ‘Like A Ribbon’.
The wordsmith has already built an imposing catalogue, replete with a number of acclaimed projects. 2021 release ‘SHILOH: Lost For Words’ remains an essential listen, while this year also brought the excellent ‘Like A Ribbon’ EP.
Debut album – proper – ‘Like A Ribbon’ is out on February 14th, with Kwes Darko installed as executive producer alongside John Glacier herself.
Guests include Australian producer Flume, Mk.gee contributor Andrew Aged, Surf Gang, Eartheater, Sampha and more, but the central voice remains John Glacier.
Out now, new single ‘Found’ offers woozy electronics punctured by John’s distinctive voice, her delivery displaying a quiet but pervasive sense of joy.
