A rap prodigy, Joey Bada$$ has already gained enormous press attention with his re-tooled take on the Golden Age sound.
Appearing at Australian event Falls Festival, the rapper seemingly became involved in an incident just before going onstage.
Stopped by a security guard and asked for his credentials, Joey Bada$$ responded by punching the guard in the face.
Arrested following his set, Joey Bada$$ was taken to Byron Bay police station and spent the night in custody. The rapper is due to appear in court in March.
On a more positive note, the hip hop star’s debut album ‘B4.AD.$$’ drops on January 20th – his 20th birthday.
