Joe Goddard has paired up with Mara Carlyle on new single 'She Burns'.
He's done it again. On solo single 'Gabriel' Joe Goddard hooked up with Valentina, adding some house beats to her ethereal, folk influenced vocals. Arguably the most successful track of Goddard's solo career, 'Gabriel' even managed to make it to number one on the South African charts.
Now the producer could be set to repeat the trick. Preparing new EP 'Taking Over', Joe Goddard has teamed up with a few new vocalists – including London based chanteuse Mara Carlyle.
Lending her vocals to 'She Burns' the results are quite something. Propulsive, dancefloor ready electronics matched to Carlyle's effortlessly emotive vocals this is a dramatic, unexpected but alluring pairing.
