Fast rising producer Joe Corti blends cultured house references with some surprising elements.
A dexterous, wide-ranging DJ, his sets can move from techno to jazz, stopping off past Italo Disco environs along the way.
Recently linking with Melé's Club Bad for a string of packed out parties, Joe Corti will hook up with the label for a full EP release.
'Bloodline' is incoming - order it HERE - but we're able to share a frisky preview, in the form of summer-fresh new jammer 'Perpetual'.
It deftly melds all his influences into one package, offering some spicy piano house with a tropical edge.
Breathy almost whispered backing vocals with mechanical leanings resonate throughout, while there's a definite jazz tinge to the arrangement.
Up front but still leaving room for surprises, it's a bold offering from a producer whose reputation is blossoming daily.
Joe Corti comments...
"After playing at a few Club Bad parties, I wanted to create an EP that represents what you can expect to hear when going to one. The tracks have influences from Italo, to techno, to jazz and this EP represents all of this diversity. Melé threw me this opportunity a while ago before the label had launched, and I'm happy for it to finally reach people's ears."
Tune in now.
Joe Corti's 'Bloodline' EP will be released on July 5th through Club Bad - order it HERE.
