Jockstrap will release debut album 'I Love You Jennifer B' on September 9th.
The duo – Georgia Ellery and Taylor Skye – are walking their own path, a project whose voice is undeniably their own.
Building a slim but potent catalogue, Jockstrap are now ready to share details of their incoming debut LP.
Out on September 9th, 'I Love You Jennifer B' collects more than three years worth of work.
The duo comment: “Everything on it is pretty singular sounding so we hope there is a track on there for everyone and something that speaks to you and says ‘I’m a banger.’”
Compelling new single 'Glasgow' is a surrealist acoustic-led alt-pop tale, complete with a startling home-made video from the pair.
Taylor says: “‘Glasgow’ is our coming of age, moving forward, long-distance, travelling, beautiful bosk, wonderful thicket song.”
And Georgia adds: “Glasgow is a great city, perhaps my favourite in the UK. Only downside is that it’s so damn cold all the time.”
