Jimmy Edgar has confirmed plans for new single ‘Sex Drive’ and a lengthy world tour.
Released earlier this year, Jimmy Edgar’s new album ‘Majenta’ is a sparkling, bizarre offering. Packed to the gunnel’s with distorted 808s, it’s Futuristic take on House is matched by lyrics which recall JG Ballard.
Gaining almost universal praise, ‘Majenta’ is set to be followed by a new single and a world tour. Jimmy Edgar will release ‘Sex Drive’ on October 8th, with the album set to come backed by two remixes.
Very much a man of the moment, John Talabot focusses on the distorted, Future-driven atmosphere of the original. Jon Convex, though, places emphasise on those jackin’ House beats – stream the Convex remix below.
