Jim James doesn’t really do remixes, so when he does you know it’s done out of love. The singer recently chopped apart Alt-J, peeling their recent single ‘Fitzpleasure’ down into its constituent parts.

Elsewhere, Alt-J have now outlined their plans for Spring 2013. Hitting the road, the newcomers have shifted up a gear; moving from intimate venues to large scale O2 Academy institutions, the dates mark another rite of passage for the band.
Opening in Birmingham on May 5th, the tour then hits Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds and more. Ending with a visit to London, Alt-J are set to perform in Brixton Academy on May 16th.
