JGrrey Links With Zombie Juice On ‘Drream’

Her new mixtape is incoming...

JGrrey returns with new single ‘Drream’.

The UK R&B jewel is on the move, recently launching an all-new podcast. A space for her to discuss the topics most important to her, the move is accompanied by news of an incoming project.

New mixtape ‘If Not Now?’ is out on October 27th, with lead single ‘Drream’ online now. A supple, sonorous piece of profoundly honest songwriting, her soulful allure has been amplified and finessed to the next level.

Crafted in the studio alongside Owen Cutts, ‘Drream’ finds JGrrey at her world-building best, utilising a sample of a specially made composition by multi-instrumentalist Harry Jowett.

Out now, JGrrey embodies the emotion behind each line, a superb vocal performance that illuminates her laser-focussed ambitions. She comments…

“Working with Owen Cutts is maybe the reason I’m still making music, he knows the music I listen to, because he listens to it too, we talk about old records and new tracks and when we make music we’re really just tryna make something we love… I love ‘Drream’, it feels full circle for me…we sampled my friend Harry’s track..then we sampled me… then we sampled some sax… and then I asked Flatbush Zombie (who I’ve been listening to since I was 18) to jump on it, Jewice is someone who I can say outright I am a fan of.”

“Seeing Flatbush Zombies live changed my life, I remember being able to hang downstairs at Village Underground before the show with them, Jewice had such a charming and sincere energy about him.. I remember thinking he might be the coolest person I’d ever met. Being so inspired by NY, and Rap music and samples, this one feels special.”

Tune in now.
