Jessie Ware will release new album 'What's Your Pleasure?' later this year.
The South London artist has developed a number of additional threads to her bow, including the sought after podcast Table Manners.
Returning to the studio, new album 'What's Your Pleasure?' will land on June 5th.
Jessie says: “It feels so amazing to be back making music, so much has happened recently. Some crazy exciting things but I feel so happy to be back to my first love. Music was the first scene that truly embraced me!!”
“I feel like these last few years I’ve had to do some exploration to figure out what I wanted to write about musically again and learn new things about myself. I’ve been yearning for that escapism, groove and maybe it’s time to say goodbye to the melancholy Jessie.”
The project is launched with nu-disco burner 'Spotlight', a slinky piece of modern soul that utilises sweeping strings amid her velvet vocal.
Jovan Todorovic directs the video, an impeccably styled piece shot aboard former Yugoslavian Dictator Tito’s infamous Blue Train in Belgrade.
