Jesse Ruins Prepare New EP

'Dream Analysis' due on February 21st

Japanese artist Jesse Ruins is set to release new EP ‘Dream Analysis’ on February 21st.

No a lot is known about Jesse Ruins. The group – if, indeed, it is a group – centre on Nobuyuki Sakum. A Tokyo based artist, Sakum has been joined by friends and collaborators but Jesse Ruins remain, for the large part, his vision.

Preparing a new EP, Jesse Ruins are set to release ‘Dream Analysis’ on February 21st. Captured Tracks will oversee the release, maintaining a relationship which began with a seven inch last year.

‘Dream Analysis’ is perhaps the best way to describe Jesse Ruins – the project is rooted in dream pop, in capturing something ethereal. Yet there is also an Industrial edge to the synth sounds, and the dichotomy between the two is what pushes their music forwards.

Two clips have emerged from the EP, which you can stream below…
