Super Swedes Jeniferever are set to return with typically beautiful second album ‘Spring Tides’ due for release on April 20th.
What is it about the Swedes and harmonious melody? They grow sweet, harmonious pop groups on trees over there. Jeniferever are amongst the pick of the bunch, though, and the group’s return is a cause for celebration.
Slow, sensual and never to be hurried, the group formed in Uppsala and have released four EPs and one album to date, gathering a cult following far beyond their native Scandinavia.
The band’s swooping harmonies are matched by intricate instrumentation, with Jeniferever blending 60s style harmonies with the slow-core drone of Galaxie 500.
With over 250 concert appearances under their belt, Jeniferever are a well honed live beast. The band have confirmed a host of UK appearances which will be music to their ears of their gig-starved UK fanbase.
