No one can fail to have been moved by the shattering news this week, with police in the United States shooting two young black men within 48 hours.
The brutal footage emerged online, creating shockwaves across the globe. The music community has been spurred to speak up, with Jay Z sharing new track 'spiritual'.
The song was seemingly prompted by previous acts of violence, but was never finished.
Jay Z explains: "Punch (TDE) told me I should drop it when Mike Brown died, sadly I told him, 'this issue will always be relevant.' I’m saddened and disappointed in THIS America – we should be further along. WE ARE NOT."
