Rising newcomer D/C has nabbed Jay Prince for his new single 'Beautiful & Fragile'.
D/C worked alongside Stateside producer Dave Tozer on the cut, with the young London artist pushing himself further and further. 'Beautiful & Fragile' utilises some wonderfully pared down beats, sluicing R&B textures through a defiantly modern mindset.
Jay Prince lends some guest vocals, ramping up the energy still further. Jay comments:
"D/C is a real talented musician and I knew we had something common, especially after he supported both my UK headline shows back in February. I think that's what really set it off for me, as well as hearing his music, but also seeing it being translated on a stage live in front of a crowd. The tour also allowed us to build a relationship which I think is rare now days when artists collaborate. It makes the process easier when you're creating."
"With 'Beautiful And Fragile' it was an angle I've never hit enough in terms of concept and thought it was a great opportunity to test myself. I really enjoyed the process and look forward to the world hearing it."
