Jason Nott has shared his brand new single, ‘I Was Dating All My Friends’.

Over the last two decades, the Los Angeles musician has consistently ventured towards new challenges, spilling his truths, lessons and anecdotes across each release. The current day sees the artist take a definitive step into his solo career, pinpointed by the slick and infectious ‘I Was Dating All My Friends’. Evoking a bitter-sweet nostalgia, the track has a distinct pop-rock flair that takes listeners back to the 90s, sporting punchy riffs, melodies and a welcoming hook.

First touring alongside his high school band during adolescence, Nott continues to present his strengths through a malleable versatility. Drawing new crowds with each chapter, the artist has savoured both local and mainstream success, playing in a number of outfits along his trajectory. Ripping up the rulebook once more, he returns to his individual craft as a producer, songwriter and vocalist, asserting his ambition with a new sonic direction.

Speaking on his latest release, Nott shares: “I wrote the song after spending a few weeks in isolation in a cabin in the mountains of Southern California during the summer of 2020. I eventually recorded the track with the help of two producer friends: Daniel Wonacott and Rich Zahniser. I played all of the instruments on the song.”
