Jarvis Cocker Shoreditch Exhibition

Yogo classes, pole dancing confirmed

Indie icon Jarvis Cocker has confirmed details of his ongoing live exhibition in a London art gallery.

Jarvis Cocker has always been slightly more cultured than most indie sensations. Having studied art the singer had a deeper academic background than most flash in the pan stars, imbuing his lyrics with a wider cultural palette.

Now working solo, the singer arranged a special exhibition in Paris earlier this year. Jarvis Cocker lived and worked in a French gallery, performing day in and day out as fans walked by the exhibition.

A huge success, Jarvis Cocker is due to repeat the feat in London. Taking place in the Village Underground in Shoreditch, the singer is set to take over the venue for three days.

Beginning yesterday (November 9th) the residency will include some very special surprises. Jarvis Cocker has confirmed yoga classes, a pole-dancing workshop and a circus troupe, among others.

The singer is also inviting musicians to drop by with an instrument. The event will finish with a very special solo show from Jarvis Cocker, joined by his current band to perform on Wednesday night (November 11th).

Having released his latest album ‘Further Complications’ to wide acclaim, Jarvis Cocker is enjoying a very creative 2009.
