Jane Weaver will release new album ‘Love In Constant Spectacle’ on April 5th.
The hugely respected synth auteur blends analogue electronics with bewitching psych-pop aspects, resulting in a potent, other-worldly brew. 2021’s ‘Flock’ took her to fresh heights, followed by some transcendent live performances.
New album ‘Love In Constant Spectacle’ aims to build on this. Released through Fire Records, it’s out on April 5th, featuring 10 new songs.
New single ‘Perfect Storm’ is an exhilarating return, the pulsating synths pirouetting up to the heavens, lifting Jane Weaver’s vocal higher and higher. An apt starting point, it speaks to some of the broader themes within the record…
“A lot of the album’s themes stem from interpretation and translation, observations and emotional cues. I love the nuances in translation on foreign film subtitles, sometimes it’s exaggerated or more beautiful, stand-alone statements that don’t make sense but when accompanied by a visual image, we can see the scene play out.”
Out now, ‘Perfect Storm’ comes as Jane Weaver announces a full UK tour for April and May, including London’s Scala venue on May 2nd. Tickets are on sale now.
