Jane Holiday’s Piano-Driven ‘Poster Boy’ Is A Tender Return

"Probably the most self reflective song I’ve ever written..."

Jane Holiday wants to move quickly.

The Los Angeles songwriter has just finished touring with Partisan signed band Tender, but he's already looking to the next challenge.

His debut EP is incoming, y'see, and there's work to be done, final mixes to be approved.

New song 'Poster Boy' is ready to reach a wider audience, a piano driven return with a tender heart.

A dose of self reflection, 'Poster Boy' is about growing old disgracefully, refusing to settle down and maintaining the life of debauched aesthete.

Honestly, though, we wouldn't have it any other way – 'Poster Boy' has that melodic curl that dominated 90s indie, while his searing vocal is unforgettable.

Jane Holiday explains…

"'Poster Boy' is probably the most self reflective song I’ve ever written. It was written around the holidays when people from all over the world gather back together and share stories of their new lives, new home, new work etc."

"During some moments of reflection, I felt like I’m kind of doing things similarly than I did in the past. There’s something really romantic and nostalgic about that feeling, but there’s also something really sad."

Tune in now.
