The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince has formed a new group with his supermodel girlfriend Kate Moss.
Romance and music rarely mix. Sure, Sonny And Cher may have been deeply in love for ‘I Got You Babe’ but the couple soon split with Cher going on to enjoy a lucrative solo career while Sonny Bono’s floundered.
So be warned Jamie Hince. The Kills’ guitarist is entwined in a romance with Kate Moss, one of the most iconic figures in British fashion. A hugely well known supermodel, the pair have apparently formed a new group.
Sources close to the couple told the Daily Star that Kate Moss is part of the new five piece. Tipping off the tabloid, the source revealed that the model had been helping out by “taking the session musicians out for dinner and giving her musical input.”
Kate Moss isn’t the only model to try her hand at music. Agyness Deyn recently guested on a Five O’Clock Heroes single while flame haired model Karen Elson is preparing to release her debut album.
Forming a new group, Jamie Hince is expected to take over guitar duties. Of course, this isn’t the only side projects members of The Kills are undertaking with singer Alison Mosshart working with The Dead Weather.
The supergroup also features Jack White, with their quickfire second album ‘Sea Of Cowards’ due for release later this Spring. In a recent interview Mosshart re-affirmed her commitment to The Kills.
The demented blues driven duo are apparently working on new material, with the group’s new album almost ready to be released.
