James Yuill has announced a new single to be released through Moshi Moshi records when “No Pins Allowed” hits the shelves of music shops everywhere from July 21st.
Still warm from the glowing critical praise poured on his first release “No Surprise”, James Yuill has signed with cult indie hotspot Moshi Moshi to deliver his second single “No Pins Allowed”.
A mixture of squelching synths and nimble folk guitar strumming, “No Pins Allowed” is another line in the sand from this promising young artist. Blending Nick Drake with Aphex Twin, James Yuill has created something uniquely personal. With appearances at SXSW and One Big Weekend, the singer has been hard to avoid, and support from Huw Matthews and Colin Murray mean that he is no stranger to the airwaves.
Also included on the single is a version of the Radiohead classic “Packt Like Sardines In A Crushed Tin Box”, and a tender version of live favourite “Breathing In”.
James Yuill will release “No Pins Allowed” on July 21st.
