Rising R&B force James Vickery has shared his superb new single 'Tear It Apart'.
The songwriter's new EP is incoming, with recent single 'Pressure' placing his irresistible voice against producer SG Lewis.
New single 'Tear It Apart' finds the vocalist working with Stateside heavy-hitter Kenny Beats, moving into another aspect of the R&B spectrum.
A deliciously soulful workout, the bubbling electronics pierce through the songwriting to expose fresh shards of light.
Expertly done, it's another sign of James Vickery's rise, spearheading a fresh wave of British R&B talent.
He comments:
"I wrote 'Tear It Apart' with Kenny Beats in our first ever session. It was a song I didn't know I needed until I made it with him."
"Kenny asked me, 'what's on your mind?' and honestly I didn't know the answer. But by following his famous philosophy, D.O.T.S (don't overthink shit), I was able to tap into a time when I was at my lowest and remember the only thing holding me together was one person. I owe that person everything."
