James Holden has shared new single ‘In The End You’ll Know’.
The producer’s new album ‘Imagine This Is A High Dimensional Space of All Possibilities’ is out on March 31st, his first since 2017. The project takes James Holden in different directions, while also connecting to his earlier work.
One prevailing facet of James Holden’s methodology is the urge to push for directness, and craft an all-out bumper every so often. Indeed, he often returns to his malfunctioning-but-homely Prophet 600 to achieve this.
Here’s some evidence.
About once every three years I turn this thing on and a banger comes out. No promises but yesterday It Happened Again. pic.twitter.com/diJnjJpToW

New track ‘In The End You’ll Know’ utilises the Prophet, and it’s a surging piece of electronic energy. James Holden remains true to his left-field instincts, but it feels impeccably focussed – a wonky dancefloor mover that plays by its own rules.
Tune in now.
