Jam City Launches New Album

It's called 'Jam City Presents EFM'...

UK club figure Jam City has laid out plans for a new album.

Out on June 1st, ‘Jam City Presents EFM’ dips into a lifetime of clubbing, assembled from a broad array of sounds. The producer’s instinct for world-building remains, with nods to his seminal debut album ‘Classical Curves’.

Set to land this summer, Jam City launches the project with emphatic new track ‘Times Square’. Melding together aspects of outre disco and wonky house, the producer’s delicate touch transforms the cut into an all-out system burner.

The vocal comes from hotly-tipped newcomer Aidan, while Jam City also utilises an excellent sample-flip of seminal Detroit producer Omar S.

Fuck London, I’d only been a few times for school trips anyway. This was where it was at. Walking through the doors to Photek’s ‘Mine to Give’, it felt like you’d walked into Studio 54 or something.

There’s a mural of the Manhattan skyline preposterously splashed over the bar, neon everywhere and the floors are sticky with cheap champagne. Shivering in the rain soaked car park, a group of girls from my school share a lighter with the local bikers in their leathers; Harley, Honda, Yamaha…

Tune in now.
