"An up-close and personal look into what growing up in Jamaica was for me..."

Jada Kingdom has shared her powerful new single 'Jungle'.

The rising force grew up in one of the poorest areas of Kingston, sharing a bedroom with her siblings in a two-room, one-parent household.

Her mother raised her and showed her the way, but Jada's experiences in the Jamaican capital left their mark.

Reflecting on this, 'Jungle' is an attempt by Jada Kingdom to speak her truth, matching soulful delivery to a sense of catharsis.

Out now, the new single finds this potent all-rounder - a model, songwriter, designer - leans on her dancehall roots, alongside elements of vintage R&B.

A potent elixir, she labels the single "an up-close and personal look into what growing up in Jamaica was for me. Most of the things I speak about in the song lyrics and that you see in the video are actually real-life situations that I’ve seen and or been a victim of.”

Tune in now.
