Jacob Golden’s “Revenge Songs” is set to be one of the album’s of the year, mixing acoustic balladry with affecting electronica to produce something very rare, and very unusual.
UK audiences will be able to catch a glimpse of this American songwriter when he appear on Later… With Jools Holland tonight. A wonderful live performer, Golden will be singing songs from acclaimed second album “Revenge Songs”. Forthcoming single “Out Come The Wolves” is a good indicator of the album’s sound – popular, yet not pop; innovative but not abstract.
