Jack White has confirmed he aims to play a record in space.
The Third Man founder launched his plans last week, and has now given fans a few pointers on how he aims to achieve this.
The label has built a custom-made "space proof" turntable called "the Icarus Craft", which they will attach to a high-altitude balloon.
The turntable will play only one record: a copy of Carl Sagan's 'A Glorious Dawn', released on Third Man back in 2010.
Third Man will host launch parties on July 30th at its Nashville and Detroit hubs. Both parties begin at 11am, while the event itself will be streamed online.
