J. Cole Reemerges For Cash Cobain’s ‘Grippy’

An unexpected collaboration with the "sexy drill" pioneer...

It’s difficult to believe that J. Cole‘s Might Delete Later – his latest mixtape – was only released last month! He’s since backed out of the feud surrounding rap’s Big Three and became the butt of jokes until things got really nasty, and was recently found by a fan chilling on a beach, adding to the lore around this unexpected chapter.

Today marks his return, as he links with Cash Cobain for a reimagining of his viral hit ‘Dunk Contest’. The NYC rapper and producer is currently on a hot streak, with his signature “sexy drill” sound set to takeover the summer thanks to its widening appeal with tracks like the Ice Spice remix of ‘Fisherrr’ and Don Toliver’s latest single ‘Attitude’.

Listen to ‘Grippy’ below, and if you want to hear more from Cash Cobain – he’s all over our Word of Mouth playlist this month, check that out via Spotify here.
