IYEARA are born from three musicians with distinct, different, entrancing voices.
Working together in relative secrecy, The Duke Spirit guitarist Toby Butler, producer Malcom Carson and vocalist Paul O’Keefe match widescreen electronics to barbed, nuanced songwriting.
Recently remixing the likes of LUMP (featuring Laura Marling) and Simon Raymonde's Lost Horizons project, IYEARA are developing, testing fresh ideas.
New single 'Enclosure' is all dark wave fury and charred electronics, a distorted synth pop jammer beamed in from another dimension.
The band explain: “‘Enclosure’ is what we share and what we mean to each other, it's the passage of life, and the fight to accept the past and the pains of loss, regret and of the struggle of forever looking back.”
Tune in now.
