Italians Do It Better have shared a 20-track tribute to Madonna.
It's the Queen Of Pop's birthday today – August 16th – so the label have decided to offer a tribute featuring a cross-section of their roster.
Indeed, the imprint's name is actually a subtle nod to Madonna – Italians Do It Better it emblazoned on her tee in the 'Papa Don't Preach' idea.
Johnny Jewel has executive produced the project, while one track – 'Lucky Star' by Club Intl – is produced by Max Kamins, the son of New York DJ Mark Kamins who played such an influential role in breaking Madonna in the early 80s.
Highlights include Joon tackling 'Papa Don't Preach', Glüme re-working 'Material Girl', Jorja Chalmers' interpretation of 'Justify My Love', and a helter-skelter version of 'Beautiful Stranger' by Juno Francis.
