PJ Harvey has announced the third single to be taken from her “White Chalk” album is to be called “The Devil”.
“White Chalk” was warmly received by critics, marvelling at Harvey’s collection of ethereal songs. “The Devil” will be released on March 10th, and will have the previously unreleased song “Liverpool Tide” on the B-side. Originally recorded in 1998, the track dates from sessions for Harvey’s introspective album “Is This Desire?”.
Harvey is currently on tour in Australia and New Zealand, a tour that includes a sold-out date at the Sydney Opera House.
“The Devil” is released on March 10th, on 7 inch, CD and download formats.
