Iron & Wine will release new album ‘Light Verse’ on April 26th.
The project remains helmed by songwiter Sam Beam, but Iron & Wine have been largely absent for almost a decade. Previous studio album ‘Beast Epic’ arrived in 2017, with follow-on EP ‘Weed Garden’ arriving the following year.
Stirring back into life, Iron & Wine have just broken cover. New album ‘Light Verse’ – their seventh to date – is out on April 26th via Sub Pop, following sessions at Silent Zoo Studios in Los Angeles.
A nimble 10-tracker, ‘Light Verse’ is available to order now, with Iron & Wine sharing touchingly affecting song ‘You Never Know’ as a preview.
