The Japanese House is the alter ego of 19 year old songwriter Amber Bain, a vehicle for her ambitions, hopes, disappointments and other whimsical thoughts.
Debut EP 'Pools To Bathe In' was a glorious introduction, with Zane Lowe anointing the singer as his final Next Hype on Radio 1.
Follow up EP 'Clean' will be released on November 6th, with The Japanese House sharing the title cut. Recorded during the summer with George Daniel and Matthew Healy, it's a glistening, brooding work, as infectious as it is melancholic.
