Members of Fleet Foxes and The Christmas Cards have joined forces to form Poor Moon.
Poor Moon began as a house party ritual. Christian Wargo and Casey Wescott – both members of Fleet Foxes – would jam with brothers Ian and Peter Murray, drafting new songs in the process.
Sending each other demos, the project gradually gathered steam. Recently graduating to playing actual, proper shows Poor Moon started to focus on their first release.
Gathering a number of recordings, the band pieced together their debut EP ‘Illusion’. Recorded in bedrooms, practice spaces and even two proper studios in Seattle, ‘Illusion’ finds Poor Moon taking a defiant step forward.
Taken from the new EP, ‘People In Her Mind’ is a light, breezy piece of indie rock that manages to escape the shadow of their illustrious day job.

Poor Moon are set to release their debut EP ‘Illusion’ shortly. Stateside dates are in the works, with a visit to the UK planned for summer.
