Miles From Kinshasa was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but now resides in London.
Hence the name: miles from Kinshasa. Forward-facing R&B with a real experimental flair, the young artist packs his music with vivid colour, with sharply defined hues.
New cut 'KAYA' is online now, and it's a wonderful new statement. Miles From Kinshasa is clearly blossoming, the ripples of sound pushing his voice somewhere entirely new.
He explains: "The name 'Kaya' itself means little and wise amongst other things but generally has to do with some kind of wisdom…"
