For many, the music industry can seem like a closed shop.
An area built on connections, on know-how, it can seem formidable to those on the outside.
Thankfully, Cato Academy are throwing open their doors to aid young people looking to make their mark.
Located in West London, Cato Academy focusses on touring and live production, and utilises some of the finest minds in the industry.
Cato Academy aims to run four 11-week courses per year – the final slot in 2014 is taking place right now, with the next course due to start in February.
With only a limited number of spaces available competition is tight, and all aspects of the touring and live production industry are covered.
Successful entrants have gone on to work with everyone from Palma Violets to Rihanna – check out a preview below.
