International Teachers Of Pop link with sleaford mods lyricist Jason Williamson on new single 'I Stole Yer Plimsoles'.
The Sheffield rooted project are currently putting the finishing touches to their second album, which is set to land next year.
New single 'I Stole Yer Plimsoles' is the first nugget to land from the record, and it features Leonore Wheatley duelling against Jason Williamson over a frisky pop-but-not-pop arrangement.
It's a tongue-in-cheek affair, with Jason Williamson taking up the role of the ‘user friendly’ ex-boyfriend.
As Wheatley puts it: “A bit of a ‘to-do’ between a couple of mature, consenting adults blundering their way through relationships, boundaries... and shoes.”
Jason Williamson adds: “It interested me purely because I was that ‘disappointment of a man’ for many years. I think that’s why they asked me, they could just tell!”
