Injury Reserve Evolve Into By Storm

New material is online...

Phoenix, Arizona rap project Injury Reserve is evolving into new project By Storm.

The group was founded by rappers Stepa J. Groggs (Jordan Groggs) and RiTchie With a T (Nathaniel Ritchie), and producer Parker Corey, releasing a sterling debut album. Sadly, in summer 2020 – as the trio were close to completing their second album – Groggs tragically and unexpectedly passed away.

The band’s now final album ‘By The Time I Get To Phoenix’ landed in 2021, and the final song was called ‘Bye Storm’.

Now RiTchie and Parker have closed one chapter, and opened another. Injury Reserve is coming to a finish, with the duo now evolving as newly-formed duo By Storm.

A video has been placed online, moving from ‘Bye Storm’ – the final song from Injury Reserve – to ‘Double Trio’, the first single under this new moniker.

“To respect the specificity of all three of us as Injury Reserve, we have decided not to make new music under this name.  Nathaniel and Parker have continued working together and plan to release under By Storm as a hand off from our work within Injury Reserve,” explain By Storm.

Tune in now.
