Infectious Toasts Its Fifth Birthday

With special release and one off show...

In its initial run, Infectious scored countless hit records, snapping up the likes of My Vitriol, Ash, The Subways and more.

Resurrected in 2009, the London-based imprint has enjoyed a fruitful second life, signing groups such as The Temper Trap and Mercury winners alt-j.

Turning five, the label has decided to throw a one off party. Taking place at London's Victoria venue on March 27th, the line up includes appearances from The Acid, alt-J, Drenge, These New Puritans Superfood and The Temper Trap.

Elsewhere, Infectious are lining up a special Record Store Day release. Out on April 19th, the limited edition album will be titled '5' and contains music and other delights.

'5' boasts exclusive material from the Temper Trap, Drenge, Local Natives, These New Puritans, Cloud Control, The Acid, as well as three short self-penned stories from alt-j's Gus Unger-Hamilton and tracks from solo acts Ry X and Vance Joy.

Superfood have supplied a cover of Beastie Boys' '(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)'.

Infectious will host their fifth birthday party on March 27th.
