Manchester’s Cats In Paris (pictured) released their ‘Courtcase 2000’ debut album this year, to almost unanimous acclaim, drawing comparisons with the likes of Deerhoof and Animal Collective, as well as domestic charmers Los Campesinos!. They played a number of summer festivals, including Green Man and End Of The Road, and are to appear at this year’s Swn Festival in Cardiff later this month. A fantastic live act with a growing fanbase, they’re a band to see now, before their star ascends even higher.
Our secret headliners must remain under wraps for the time being, but their album of this year is an award winner, their live shows fantastically frenetic, and their touring patterns in 2008 have seen them play to audiences the world over – from the US to Japan and everywhere in between.
Two more acts will be announced soon – keep your eyes on ClashMusic.com for updates.
So, see you there or what?
