Cure Announce Singles Plan

Legendary British group The Cure have announced their comeback with a series of singles to be released on the 13th of each month.

The singles will announce the run up to the release of their 13th studio album, which has yet to be titled. The album was recorded by a new-look Cure, centred as ever on lead singer Robert Smith. Smith will be accompanied by new guitarist Pol Thompson – set to rejoin the band for a third time.

The singles commence with the release of “The Only One” on May 13th, which is set to be followed by “Freakshow” and two other singles until the album’s release on September 13th. The new album is the group’s first since the 2004 release of their self-titled record “The Cure”, and is highly anticipated by the group’s devoted army of fans.
