US indie / hip hop crossover act Iglu & Hartly are set to unleash their debut album on “& Then Boom” on September 29th, and to celebrate the band have made “Jump Out Of Your Car” available as a free download.
The group originate from California, and met while at university. Signed to hip indie Another Music = Another Kitchen, Iglu & Hartly caused tabloid infamy after they hired a flat above the studio where Take That were recording and proceeded to party unti lthe wee wee hours – apparently Gary Barlow and co. were not impressed!
Led by Jarvis Anderson the band are hotly tipped to do well, with a sound that sits somewhere between Tom Petty and the Pointer Sisters. According to the band, debut album “& Then Boom” sounds like “that scene in The Wizard Of Oz when the picture flips from black and white into colour”. So now we know!
