It's a stark, bold clip...

Iggy Pop has shared a new video featuring him reciting the Dylan Thomas poem 'Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night'.

The punk godfather returned with his album 'Free' in 2019, an ambient about-turn that features the likes of Noveller as collaborators.

Taken from the album, 'Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night' is an intense spoken word piece featuring Iggy's inimitable growl.

Simon Taylor has directed a new clip for the song, one that features an intense up-close shot of Iggy speaking the lyrics.

A clip that seems to summon thoughts of ageing and the passing of time, there's also a clear rebellious streak in Iggy's unadorned performance.

Check it out now.
